Over the past year, Eagle County’s elected officials and employees have embarked on a strategic visioning and leadership process to make county government more productive, more efficient, and more responsive to the community.We’ve come a long way in setting the stage for a great future for Eagle County.We developed an internal program for major cultural change and enhancement; and a method for measuring progress toward defined new cultural organization goals. Collectively, we worked on the organizational purpose, mission, and core values.With vision and leadership, Eagle County employees now have the direction and the tools to “build to great,” and make county government a dynamic organization that responds and serves the community.
