Located in Vail Village is the Solaris outdoor skating rink.  This is a perfect place for a family to have loads of fun.  Kids and adults can rent skates right next to the rink.  if it’s  a hot cup of coffee you need while the kids twirl around, there is a coffee shop available for you to have a warm up and relax to watch your daughter practice her spins.

Need something a little stronger, while your kids are playing on the rink you can sit at Bol for a glass of wine.  The upper level has comfortable seats and fires you can cozy up to.  One kid would like to skate the other wants to bowl or go to the movies.  No problem it’s all right there for your family. Too cold to have fun outside?  No problem Dobson Indoor Ice Rink located between Vail Village and Lionshead on the bus route.  They have open skate times.  Check out their site for more information.

Town of Avon has their own natural outdoor rink in the center of town just outside the Avon Recreation Center across from Nottingham park.  They have skate rental, a warming hut and hot beverages as well.  Check out the money saving coupon for skate rental.

Beaver Creek has an outdoor ice rink in the center of their village.  Skate rental is available with comfortable chairs, fires, hot drinks, an awesome family restaurant within a few yards called Dusty Boot.
