Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is off I- 70 exit 116, .3 mi. w. on 6th St., then s. on Devereux Rd. to 51000 Two Rivers Plaza Rd. A tramway carries visitors to the caves and park atop Iron Mountain. The 70-minute Cave Tour features soda straws and other crystalline formations as well as Exclamation Point, a cliff-side balcony. The Wild Tour and Adventure Tour take participants deeper into the caves; helmets and protective gear are provided. Thrill rides also are available: an alpine coaster, giant swing, and zip line, as well as gemstone sluice box mining and a climbing wall.
