Publication Size:

The Parent's Handbook is a Digest size publication and trims to a finished size of 8.375"x5.375".
Bleed Size is 5.875"x8.875"
The Live area is 4.75"x7.25", all logos and type must be kept a minimum of 3/8" inside of all edges that bleed.
Perfect alignment of type or design that crosses the gutter cannot be guaranteed. Allow 3/16" safety at gutter of spreads.

1/6 page banner ad

1/2 page vertical ad

2.15"x7.25" 4.75"w x 7.25"h 5.875" x 8.875" (includes .25" bleed on all four sides)
Supplied ads:
Only Mac formatted CD/CDR's are accepted
Only Mac files are accepted. PC documents and applications are NOT compatible
Files must be created in the following applications:
InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator CS3 or lower, or QuarkXpress 7.31 or lower.
All support files and fonts must be included along with a printed or PDF
proof of the ad.
All images used must be TIFF of EPS format, CMYK mode and 300 ppi
at 100%
Logos and bitmap line art should be 1200 ppi at 100%
All text in Adobe Illustrator should be saved as outlines
Please include all fonts and resource files necessary to print the ad
Include a laser proof of ad, as well as a printout of disc contents
Color will not be guaranteed unless a SWOP approved color Matchprint is
provided for press check.
  Preferred file format: Hi-Resolution PDF (distilled using PDF X1a job
option). File should include bleeds if necessary. No crop marks or color
bars required.

If we are building your ad, you MUST provide the following materials:
Typewritten text/ad copy
Photographs, transparencies or slides all digital images must be 300 ppi (at 100%) TIF or EPS files
A brief indication of your concept or idea for the ad

If we are building your ad, you MUST provide the following materials:
1/4 page: $125 1/2 page: $175 Full page: $250
