In 2006-07 , 70% (or 6.1 million skier visits) of all skiers visits in the state of Colorado were in Eagle, Summit and the surrounding 3 counties.  Of those 6.1 million skier visits approximately 63% of them are associated with the family market.

•   32% are families with children now
•   17% are families with children no longer living at home
•   Average length of stay for families-5.8 nights
